| dc.description.abstract | Teachers play a variety of roles in the classroom to facilitate the learning process for students, including identifying the students' personalities and styles that are considered as an important role for teachers in the classroom and choosing the appropriate strategies to address these differences. The present study ‘ Teachers awareness about Students Personality and Learning Styles in EFL Classes’ aims to see the extent to which the personality types and learning styles of learners are included in the teaching practice in EFL classes , and the various strategies that teachers use to cope with these differences. The implemented descriptive research design incorporates both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Sixty eight (68) first year students from both scientific in El-Amir-Abdel-Kader high school in Khemiss Miliana were randomly selected to participate in the study. Data were collected through a content analysis of questionnaire and interview. Regarding the methodology, the researchers used two research tools. The questionnaire is designed for first year secondary school learners at EL-Amir- Abd-el-Kader Secondary School in Khemis Miliana. The interview is conducted with EFL teachers. The findings indicate that teachers are aware of the personalities and styles of their learners. The analysis of the data of the study shows that teachers are somehow aware about their student’s personalities and learning styles. Therefore, it is concluded that using a variety of teaching strategies and methods to cope with the learning styles and personalities of students in the classroom helps students in their learning process. The study concludes with some strategies that may enable both teachers and learners in achieving in the learning process. | fr_FR |
