Abstract:
The output power of a photovoltaic module is influenced by factors such as solar irradiation intensity, temperature, and load. In order to optimize the performance of photovoltaic systems, theadoptionofaMaximumPowerPointTracking(MPPT)algorithmisnecessarytoextractthe maximum energy from the solar panels. The main objective of this thesis was to simulate and practically implement an MPPT algorithm based on fuzzy logic to control a DC-DC converter type BOOST. To achieve this objective, the Arduino UNO was used as the control board.
