dc.description.abstract Summary abstract this study aimed to reveal the reality of the impact of discretionary management of competencies in improving performance in economic institutions, where the field study was carried out at the naftal corporation and chlef unit, by researching the relationship btween discretionary management of competencies of institutional performance. The study relied on a sample from a worker in the institution, and for the purpose of addressing the problem of the study, the questionnaire was used as a tool for the study, where 50 questionnaire forms were processed by the statistical program spss v23, using many statistical methods, including arithmetic averages, standard deviations and correlation coefficient, and the study reached a set of results, including that the estimated managment the competencies have a positive dtatistically significant effect on improving institutional performance fr_FR
