dc.description.abstract COVID 19 is a virus responsible for a global pandemic that began in December 2019. The evolution of the disease has had disastrous socio-economic and especially health consequences. For the purpose of coronavirus research, we are interested in the repercussions and late complications of Coronavirus infection in the region of AIN DEFLA. We collected data on 243 patients followed between 2020 and 2022 at the level of hospital services and with many general practitioners or specialists in the region. The COVID-19 complications studied concern cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory and renal diseases, neuropathies as well as persistent post-COVID symptoms (such as asthenia or loss of taste and/or smell). Our results showed that there were a large number of cases of post-COVID19 complications recorded in 2021 at AIN DEFLA which affect people over the age of 20, women much more than men. We also observed a greater frequency of respiratory diseases and persistent symptoms compared to other pathologies. The latter are associated with the beta β and delta δ variants of the virus. Concerning the different complications studied, we noticed that there is appearance of type II diabetes in 08 people out of 11, that there are 50% of cerebral vascular accidents, 31% of cases of chronic respiratory failure, a suffering from acute renal failure, high blood pressure in 06 out of 07 cases and finally persistence of muscle pain and cough in post-COVID. All our results have made it possible to highlight the extent and severity of the attack on COVID 19 given the various complications that this virus has caused since its appearance. Prevention remains the most effective way to avoid the risk of contamination fr_FR
